            <title><![CDATA[Mae Mayeux, Artist]]></title>
            <description><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;South Louisiana provides inspiration for landscape paintings for Mae Dufour Mayeux.&amp;nbsp; She has been painting professionally since 1991, though painting has been a favorite hobby since she was very young.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Her paintings and prints have been sold all over the world -- France, Belgium, Russia, Australia and Canada to name a few locations.&amp;nbsp; Mae has travelled to exhibit and sell her work in Martinique in the Carribean; Cambrai, France; and Namur, Belgium.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Mae enjoys painting landmarks that are special and touch the hearts of people - she paints scenes that help people remember days gone by.&amp;nbsp; She loves color and many of her scenes contain beautiful skys portraying those times of the day just before sunrise, or just after sunset when the sky is most beautiful.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Her attention to detail, combined with a bit of whimsy here and there have earned her a unique style all her own, and her style has been described as &quot;whimsical realism&quot;.&lt;/p&gt;.]]></description>
